Old Versions Of Garageband

Download GarageBand 10.4.3 for Mac from our website for free. This free program was developed to work on Mac OS X 10.9 or later. The application is included in Audio & Video Tools. The most popular versions among the application users are 10.0, 6.0 and 5.1. This free Mac application was originally designed by Apple Inc. Is there a reliable download an older version of Garageband I just bought a 2008 Imac with El Capitan loaded and there is no garageband. The only version available in the app store only works for sierra which my computer does not support.

Where does one find older versions of GarageBand?

I am in need of version 10.

I have searched a bunch on this site but I'm having a hard time finding relevant info.

(Mac Mini early 2009, MacOS 10.11.6)

New machine to me so I do not have any backups.

It had GarageBand 10 when I got it but I wanted a wipe as this was a used machine and I did a fresh install and upgrade.

I have the original discs (10.6 and iLife) but that has an older version of GarageBand.

Old

GarageBand keeps telling me to upgrade to 10 and go to the App store to do that.

Version

The App Store only offers the latest version which is not compatible with 10.11.x, and this machine cannot update past this version of MacOS.

Are there old versions to download somewhere on the Apple site?

Alternatively, are there SAFE sources for these?

I've found downloads online from unknown sites but am wary about installing those as I'm not that familiar with Mac at this point and don't know what sites I can trust.

Thanks in advance!

The 'projectData' file is an xml file describing the project along with a large chunk of base64 encoded data within the tags.

Once base64 decoded, this data tag still contains some binary data with human readable strings which can be found from the Terminal with a command like:

These strings can be filtered out. For example, the following command gets (almost) only the names of the instruments used in the project:
